Wicky...

Post by MacV2 »

This is not confirmed but if any one has any other information please let us Know. Taken from FB timed 21 hrs ago.

Pete Pearson
John Hepburn

It is with indescribable sadness and immense regret that I have to inform you of the passing of our colleague and friend John Hepburn. Although John had his share of health issues his passing comes as a complete surprise – no one could have predicted or expected this. As far as we understand John passed peacefully onto the next world earlier this week. He was found at home still lying comfortably in his bed with no signs of distress or concern.
I cannot start to tell you how heart-breaking this news is and for many it will take a long time to fully accept and come to terms with. He has been an ever present figure in many peoples’ lives – as a friend, confidant, team member, organiser, computer genius and extraordinary artist. He will be sorely missed by his friends and the communities he was involved in alike.
We are in contact with his family and will pass on details of funeral arrangements as and when.
Please look out for each other especially in these COVID restricted days there are no second chances.

Mac. :(

Jonesey just informed me of John's passing. I can't believe it. What a wonderful human being he was.

One of the few people who would just pop round unannounced for a coffee, the sound of his Mori pipes entering the village would be my call to put the kettle on.

Rip dude

I'm deeply saddened by this news.

John (Wicky) was one of our long term forum members, having joined this site in February 2006 (15 years ago). He was part of the family here and always one of the first to be giving advice and or links with advice to those requesting help. He always amazed me how he could just come up with a link from may be several years ago on a certain problem, he was very skilled in doing that. He also had a very good sense of humour.

John you will be sorely missed, rest in peace my friend.

RIP Wicky,

Chris.

OMG!
Shocked and Stunned!

RIP Wicky. It was an Honour knowing you. You will, and always will be, thought of as a true gent.
The VTR lights will glow a little dimmer now without your light to guide us.
Bless you.
