WSB starts Sunday Wahoo

Post by Kev L »

Tom Sykes, Eugene Laverty and Alex Lowes have had a good test session at Phillip Island ready for the races at the weekend -

http://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/2014/Sy ... +to+an+end

Not everyone was so lucky. Sylvain Barrier and Luca Scasa broke their pelvis and Fabrizio rattled his noggin and has been detained in hospital.
At least Tom Sykes will start the season un-injured this year, after last years broken wrist in the Phillip Island test.

Eurosport are showing BSB & WSB, normally on Eurosport 2. Times will probably be silly o'clock for live transmission but repeats will be throughout the day knowing Eurosport.

coverage was wombles awful, i managed about 30 mins and then turned it off, the constant adverts was a wombles nightmare and that new superpole formula what the wombles man

it worked well why piss about with it change it to free practice times now automatically getting you in to superpole two etc

Well I enjoyed it regardless :D
Mind you, the TiVo box helps with the adverts. I hardly watch anything live any more and then I can just skip through them

Biggest surprise for me was Eugene. I thought he was nuts when he moved to Suzuki!
Boy did he make it work well. He's always been a class rider but he just looked a class above the rest this weekend. Shame the machinery let him down in the second race

Yeah the races was decent, just wasnt impressed with the superpole piss about,

couldn't believe it when the Suzuki blew its guts poor lad, still least he had race one

Heck of a comeback from Tom in race 2 he was way back and managed to get it where he did

Was not impressed with Rae tho :( he started well as usual and then when the tires start to go he starts to go too, one point he was fighting for the sharp end of race two god know where he ended up in the end mid table

I predicted Guintoli would get a win :) it looks like its going to be a close year with the top bunch but i think Guintoli will take this years title
