MGP @ Silverstone...

Post by MacV2 »

...this coming weekend...

Set thy recorders, or banish the Mrs & offsprings away from the goggle box, get the beers & comestibles in, sharpen the axes for the Moto3 race, sit back & enjoy...

Looking ok-ish weather wise...

...but this is an English summer we are talking about here so who knows...it'll probably snow !

yes that was an embarrassing weekend for toseland at Donnignton

Hope we see good showings from McPhee, Lowes and Cal ... that all have the ability to get on the podium, but also they have the ability to chuck it in the kitty litter

Went and watched it last year.
Great day out. Shame you can’t get a little closer to racing like you can at Donnington or Brands but other than that a top

Times changed due to weather...

MGP now starts at 11.30, rain due around 12.00 onwards which is OK for the Moto3 as they dont aquaplane at 180mph like the big bikes do...

That buggered my Sunday evening. Stocked up with beer and peanuts. Bummer.

Good for MM though.

I doubled checked I had set my recorder before having to go out today. We got back at 5pm, I went through all four recordings (Moto GP, Moto3, Moto2 and Chequered Flag) to find it had been cancelled.

I wasn't expecting that, though safety has to be top priority,

Chris.
