Pauline's - just before the breakdown.

Post by cliveyandrews »

Had to shelve all our plans last weekend as Pauline crippled with Migraine Friday/Sat - but after much cajoling and a very nervous start, we got out for about 50 miles - her first run since CCT change last year! Good run up Ashby Road, down A5, met Z1 owners group at Kings Head, then home. Sadly her Storm broke down about half a mile from home. Fuel starvation on 1 cylinder. Will check breathers, lines & vac pipes later. But - oh, the glorious noise!Image

Only because they didn't want to be seen with the orange two . So they took the long way round and they know the the orange two would hold them up . So the orange two got sent the shortest way so they would arrive there first .
We all know the orange is a rare breed , they are that rare they rarely make it out of the garage . Just don't let them procreate otherwise we won't be thinking in days we'll be thinking in decades :-)

Clive,
Paulines problem sounds similar to what BSM had over the weekend wit the bike going onto 1 cyl..........his problem was al loose coil, so thats worth checking.

I have to say I have never seen an orange storm in the flesh [because you keep missing the workshop days  ]........So I have concluded that they seem to be very shy, and Self-conscious of their lack of speed to mix with other colours, and would rather gather in little orange groups where the lack of speed is not going to be an issue

Ha ha, lol - very droll....

We will make something, honest...
(sadly Pauline doesn't have the best of health - Fibromyalgia, Underactive Thyroid, Tachycardia and Migraines - she does very well to just stay on her feet sometimes... )

I'll checck the coil - tank needs to come off when I get back up next week, I'll bang a set of Iridiums in too, and check all the pipes. To come on so sudden - after a fair mileage (more than a float bowl) it could be...

Just for clarity, Marty has the stick coil conversion on his, and not the standard coil/HT lead variety.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
