Nice one Darren, like the matching lid.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Gone are the days where price meant better quality, nowadays we pay for the brand. Simpson helmets are not cheap by any means and I do love the look of them and I'm not saying they are not up to the job but I'm sure if the cheaper box and shark etc helmets are able to meet and pass BS then surely a big American company can spare a little to have their helmets tested against BS so that they are able to sell in Europe. How ever they feel that that is not where their money is so haven't bothered.

I would sooner have a cheap lid that has passed BS than an expensive one that I was not too sure about. I mean come on we only really have one chance to put our lids to the test before needing another or not needing one at all.

Phoenix is more than welcome to air his opinion. Thats part of what this forum is about. At the end of the day he is correct in his view, it is acctualy designed to be worn inside a car. However as motorcycle riders we put our selves at risk every time we sling our leg over. Every time we decide to overtake, each time we filter to the front of the qued traffic and so on and so on. We each make our own choices and as long as the choices i make dont affect or interfear with any one else they are in my opinion the rite ones for me to make. I would never presume to tell anyone how to ride their bike or what they should wear whilst on it.
Thanks for the coments one and all  Daz
