Newby from North East UK
Newby from North East UK
Hi Everyone,
Switched from a Fireblade to a Firestorm as always wanted to own a V-Twin. Picked up a 98 model with 18k on the clock and rode it for the first time today. Absolutely in love with it....winner.
One thing.....how the hell do I remove the pillion cowl?
Cheers.

Just unclip the two side mountings and stretch it lightly outwards, it comes off rearwards.
The rearmost central point just stays in place, it's for location only.
You have to take the dual seat off the bike first.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I'll give that a go, thanks

A very clean and tidy bike you have found there by the looks of it, and low mileage too, well done.
Welcome aboard

Looks like a very nice bike.If i was you i would get them auto cct's changed for manuals asap to save any heartache. They are a time bomb waiting to go off and wreck your engine.
