We don't have weasels around here but we do have skunks. I hit one on a ride, years ago, and it earned me the nick name "Stinky" from my mates for the remainder of the trip.

I have noticed the similarity between the Fire Storm and my old Guzzi (I had a rater ticked out T3.)

Yes, there is a similarity in the tourquey feel between the guzzi and vtr, that's why I like the vtr. cheers.
