Hello from just over the canal :)
Hi everyone,
I saw all the good advise here and just needed to signup for all the upcoming questions i have while i'm stripping down my Storm
My name is Stephan, 36 from Belgium.
Single fulltime dad from 2 sons, so no nagging wife that can complain how much cash i throw at the bike
My daily job is tig-welding, just to give you guys an idea what i can do
And last but not least...
I used to own a Red Storm 15 years ago, it was my first bike.
Because of the famous CCT problem i wasn't aware of that time i completely ruined the engine.
I couldn't afford a new engine and just sold what was left.
In all those years the women didn't want me to buy a new bike and now... well you can guess it...
I recently bought a Stormy again, it was a bargain but it needs some serious work
This is when i came home with it
And this is her now after i putted a poly 1 piece front end on it and the original clipons
Now i'm disambling her completely for a total cleanup and checkup in case of problems i find out and as i go on, other fairings, colors and other fancy stuff / mods.

Welcome aboard Stephan
Very nice introduction. You have some good skills there which could come in very handy with the bike

Hi there, welcome. Enjoy your project, all you need now is a sidecar, tacked on the side, for the two rugrats and your sorted.

Now that would be an interesting project, a detachable sidecarRichard wrote:Hi there, welcome. Enjoy your project, all you need now is a sidecar, tacked on the side, for the two rugrats and your sorted.
