Hello from just over the canal :)

Post by Stepkevh »

Hi everyone,

I saw all the good advise here and just needed to signup for all the upcoming questions i have while i'm stripping down my Storm

My name is Stephan, 36 from Belgium.
Single fulltime dad from 2 sons, so no nagging wife that can complain how much cash i throw at the bike
Image

My daily job is tig-welding, just to give you guys an idea what i can do :)

And last but not least...
I used to own a Red Storm 15 years ago, it was my first bike.
Because of the famous CCT problem i wasn't aware of that time i completely ruined the engine.
I couldn't afford a new engine and just sold what was left.
In all those years the women didn't want me to buy a new bike and now... well you can guess it...
I recently bought a Stormy again, it was a bargain but it needs some serious work

This is when i came home with it

And this is her now after i putted a poly 1 piece front end on it and the original clipons
Image

Now i'm disambling her completely for a total cleanup and checkup in case of problems i find out and as i go on, other fairings, colors and other fancy stuff / mods.

Welcome aboard Stephan
Very nice introduction. You have some good skills there which could come in very handy with the bike :D
