Hi from Manchester!

Post by Msi »

Hi all,
It has been almost a year since I've got my little beauty and I am constantly checking up this forum... so I thought it was time to join in.
She is a '98 Vtr with 42k that I bought just for £995! :biggrin In a year I only had to replace the clutch and the regulator...
Ah! Also the cct's (of course). I don't really like the manual cct's, so I've got the original ones having on mind to replace them every 10k or two years. What do you think of that?
Thanks, and I am available almost every weekend if anybody around fancies a ride.

Welcome to the club mate. As the others have said, do the stopper mod. The standards are too much of a lottery. An hour or two for the mod to save you weeks of heartache and expense if the cct lets go.

You can't rely 100% on standard CCT's,

Newton, near Hyde, due to my shift pattern I mainly have rides out on Thursdays and Saturdays, don't do Sundays, too many k**b heads out.
