Signing in..

Post by SatNavSteve »

Hello all :)
Picked up an orange '99 Firestorm a couple of weeks back - non-starter - waiting on an ex-Honda mechanic mate to look into the problem. Reading what I can find in the forum I think the (M357T) alarm was removed at some point and that's when the problem started (just my guess). No sign of the alarm anywhere. Anyway, looking forward to taking her for a shakedown asap and meeting up with some of you!

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully it will be something as simple as the ignition cut out needing reconnecting. Does the bike crank over or is it dead dead.

Have a read through the read me for new members below.

thanks all :)
The engine turns over but no more.. electrics all work. Adding fresh fuel tomorrow, guessing the carbs will need a thorough cleaning after standing for a long time. but see how it goes. Realistically. I'm just playing with the easy bits 'til Hond-matey can get his hands on it..

Bet my Teal one  is faster than your orange one (whilst it's not running and if ridden by someone else when it is)

Welcome aboard buddy.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
