New here

Post by sherpatensing »

Hello from Peterborough..! I'm not new to the VTR 1000 as I bought one new in March 2000. I remember it with great fondness. I am now looking for one to buy, to add to my collection of 12 bikes which many are examples of bikes from my past. I'm an all year rider using an R1200GS as my daily bike which has clocked up 70000 miles. The VTR (when I get it) will be a summer bike only though. I look forward to reading stuff on this forum.

Welcome to the forum mate.
Have a good read, plenty of useful info should you need it and plenty of banter if you just want a laugh.
And congratulations on not trying to find a cure for the compulsive bike collecting, you can never have too many  ( 11 for me  )
Oh, and we like pictures, lots of pictures.......some of us don`t read as good as we oughta.......
