Hi there!

Post by davebonline »

Hi everyone

Just bought an immaculate '98 Firestorm with just 13k on the clock. Will be delivered next week at some point.

I recently sold my '03 BMW F650 GS which is what funded the new purchase. It's a bit of a punt as I don't know loads about these bikes but it's having brand new CCT's fitted as part of the deal which gives me some time to decide which of the CCT mods to do a bit further down the line.

Anyway, looking forward to spending some time on the forum!

Dave

Thanks for the welcome chaps. Was wondering, how do you all find the riding position of the VTR, primarily on the wrists. Does it become a problem after a while in the saddle?

Thanks

Can be it depends on you...relax a bit take some weight off your arms...on long rides you'l be glad of the small tank as it will mean you can give your butt a rest...every time you fill it up...

Welcome mate

Ive has nothing but help and support from the guys here.

I would resolve the cct issues then you can relax

There is also a wiring mod you can do to rectifier which i understand gives peace of mind.

Have fun, and ride safe
