Red Storm
Re: Red Storm
I just ordered oem parts for my stage 1 rebuilt. Parts are from japan.webike.net, and price is about 60% after tax compared to EU prices. Only these parts are not enough to get free shipping, but this shop has a lot of useful and interesting stuff.
Here is my list for engine rebuilt, maybe somebody will find it useful.

Re: Red Storm
I see you have run a C36 and C35 stack build. Racetech says C34 which I have. Is this to reduce dive a little or better turn hold?
Re: Red Storm
Current C35 on blade forks is based on Roger D recommendation :-)
Re: Red Storm

Re: Red Storm
Great . The race is on then ! I must get a move on with mine today
Re: Red Storm
Got the pistons today :-) They are approx 65g lighter. I hoped for their X design at the bottom, nevermind. Bore is 98.5 mm, compression should be about 11.3, maybe I will measure to check. Hope there will be enough space for valves, but original piston was used as template ...

Re: Red Storm
I would suggest getting your crank re-balanced afterwards......

Re: Red Storm
Very nice is them and a lot different to mori and JE ones
Re: Red Storm
There is no need for it, crankshaft is balanced separately. You can use whatever pistons and rods you wish, if they are same weight front and rear. V90 is partly selfbalancing it.mik_str wrote:I would suggest getting your crank re-balanced afterwards......
I would be more scared with flywheel lightening, but it is safe for the same reason as above.
