Archie's Storm rolling mods diary

Post by archiebroge1 »

Alright Folks Thought I'd start a diary now as my bike will be coming off the road at the end of this season for a freshen up.

Joined the forum a couple of months ago when I first got my storm. Its slightly neglected but mechanically sound. Decided then I wanted it to look mint but also made the decision to use it this season. So I gave her a good service for peace of mind and have since been enjoying it.

Can honestly say I have proper got the vtwin bug and have no plans of ever selling this bike. Have started to collect parts already. Also in the process off doing an ss exhaust.

will update as and when cheers

my first ever look at the beast :D

few pics of the exhaust conversion. Will also be removing snapped studs from front cylinder while im at this. using the standard right side can at the moment can any one advise if this will work ok. Also if anyone one on here could sell me a right side link pipe that would be great as I cant post in the wanted section yet. remus system is also for sale.

single exit carbon can is not the best idea, unless it's bloody huge and well packed, only an idiot would use a single c/f can from a 600cc bike...........doh!!!!!!!!!!!!
you know who you are.........................lloydie......

I tend to lean via counter steering and shifting my weight around!
