bit of a blast from the past, the yellow girl needed a bit of love.... so a chance meet and i got a complete front end i built up for a 7R i owned.... bikes gone but i nabbed the front..
7r forks with good k-tech internals
yokes
front wheel
320 wavy discs
10R kawa radial calipers
radial master
lever..

not the hardest way i suppose to get a front end but give it a go.

7 stem cut outa bottom yoke leaving insert in the bottom yoke
grind and press out storm stem.
machine it down to press into 7r insert you leave in the kawa yoke.
press it in and pin in for peace of mind and press fit a bottom cap on aswell.
storm bearings and pretty much thats it,
change over my clamps and bars.
cut the ignition lugs of the 7 top yoke and open out the top stem hole.

stand back and throw it on and hope it all lands in the right place.

after a proper blat out today.. handling is best described as sharp   and brakes like hitting a wall... mucho happy..

iv worked out the total cost for doing this conversion after selling of the bits from the 7r i didnt need comes to a total £ 0.00.....

boom.....

I am convinced Fabiostar has serious OCMD issues going on here. Last year I thought I had a problem but it is now clear I am normal.

Good work though Rob!

good run today on dry empty roads reminded me how much i actually love this old bike.. brakes bedded in and jes they are stoppers.. handling wise raised the ride height at the front as 7 forks allow this and to be honest, its like a giant supermoto to ride. it just falls on it side   ..

its finished, nothing to see here now move along...

Did you say it's finished ?

I'd like a $ for everytime I have said that.

Looks good and I know from personal experience the difference a USD and good brakes make to these old girls.

Now ride and enjoy .
