Das blaue Tier

Post by Virt »

So.. I actually don't know why I was keeping it a secret.. Maybe there was a reason and I just have the mind of somebody AMCQ's age, rather than of someone my own

So hands up, who's surprised?

This was taken after I cleaned it earlier, but it had been ridden about 1-2 miles to reach the garage I store it in. Should've taken the photos before taking it over there, but meh. It still looks gorgeous!

Very nice bike Virt, but maybe too many photos of where it's kept?

Keep it safe, keep it secret . As Gandalf once said

I've obscured some of the local signs, but yeah. I can't be arsed to walk back over and do more photos, I'll replace them next time I go over with some more discreet ones

Removed the image with the garage. Eh, the exhaust sounds nice but it's not exactly attractive. It will be replaced at some point, just don't know when (or what with!)

Really nice looking bike Virt, looks a lot smarter than the Suzuki & has heaps more character.

Is there a lot of difference in performance?

Top speed is lower, V strom did about 150kmh, the speedo on this only goes to 140! It gets a wobble on at 110 though so I don't fancy going much faster.

Acceleration though? The Suzuki doesn't compare, holding on at full throttle in second is relatively difficult

Sounds good :cool2

Maybe try to give it more pre load on the rear, it might help with the speed wobble
