pete's projects

Post by haynesjones66 »

i thought i'd post what's going on in my shed at the moment. i'm currently working on two 1978 honda 750-4s, one a honda britain and the other a phil read replica which is having an engine rebuild at the mo. the two pics below are the honda britain as bought (with the PRR frame in shot) and the phil read rep as bought.

the engine was stripped and the cases were sent for blasting and painting

and i'm starting to reassemble the motor now.

as a side project, working with some of the kids at my school, i have a seriously bad 500-4 engine which nobody wanted on ebay (potentially scrap) and the remains of a superdream. this is where i'm at so far although i dont have much time for it at the mo because of the other two restos.

the worlds first cb500n! i'll keep posting pics as and when things progress.

A mate of mine has one of those CB750's. might be a seeley or could be the same as one of yours, it in bits but mostly there, think he'd get rid of it but doesn't know it's value.

That's better having all your photo's here in one place. An interesting build that Honda CB500N

I like seeing all the parts there in black looking like new in the third photo down :)

I'm seeing him this weekend, I'll try and remember to ask him what the model is, I know he said it's a rare bike.
