Kickstand switch earth location?

Post by t13ony »

Update on the vtr kickstand switch issues!
Checked operation of clutch switch seems normal. But having disconnected and reconnected clutch switch its now no longer faulting and has taken me to work and back all week. It could start acting up again but I will let you know as it happens.
What I do need to know tho is where the kickstand switch is earthed to the frame? A quick inspection and Clean up can't harm. Help please.

The side stand switch doesn't have it's own individual earth, it has a shared one. You could most likely find which one it shares with a multi-meter if you really want to, but it would pay to check/clean all the earth connections on the bike if you want to go down that route. Like you say it can't do any harm, good luck,

Chris.
