Good question Rob, I wouldn't had thought there was a difference. I wonder if the JE high compression pistons are off-set the same :?:

I Think so.
Consider that now, on modern engines (as for car as for motorcycle) manufacturers have two ways to reduce vibrations and friction: piston's pin offset or crankshaft offset (vs cylinder's axle).

Most used is pin's offset.

I've just had it confirmed that the JE pistons I'm going to fit can be used in either cylinder. That's direct from JE.

The Mori pistons are the same and also can be run in either cylinder
Though that doesn't mean they are not offset. :thumbup:
