A suggestion for you clever mods!

Post by Jester666 »

I think it may be an idea to break up the For Sale/Wanted section into 2 seperate bits.

Its just a bit af a ball ache looking through the posts (That hardly anyone titles For Sale or Wanted) to see what is actually for sale or needed.

Just an idea!

Nobody bothers their arses putting post in the correct section (see wanted ad in the workshop section tonight for example) so having 2 separate sections wouldn't change anything. As for putting for sale or wanted in the title, well, that would just be common sense, wouldn't it?

I've also noticed lately that quite a few ppl are just posting what they want to buy or are selling in that part of the forum without putting "For sale" or "Wanted" in the titles..

I'm with Jester on this one...any chance that part of the forum can be split and made into 2 seperate sections please? Would make it a easier to navigate IMO. I seem to remember there have been a couple of other members asking the same thing lately too?

That would be the best option in my opinion as well.

Surely you guys and girls can remember to add either "For Sale" or "Wanted" in the title :eh:

Not quite on the same subject but i'd like there to be a rule that prices must be put on items for sale, lets face it if your selling something you'll have an idea of what you want for it. I don't know anything about the running of the forum but on another i've used you have to put the word price followed by the price in brackets, if this is not done the system is set up so as it won't let you post (so no moderator needed). A sticky at the top of the section can explain it, titled read this before posting items for sale.
I don't think it's much to ask people to put a price on and saves the next few posts always reading "how much".
