So you have a left hand dongle valve for sale & ask £30 ono...

I offer you £25 as the first dibs...

Lets say just for arguments sake Virt then offers you 28.50 for it some days later...

Do you take Virts cash or honour the first dibs code ? Isn't that still a bidding war ?

Do I then fall out with you ? I can't fall out with Virt as I already don't like him...

Yes people should put a price on sale items, but often they want more than they are really worth IMO...

I mean £30 for a L/H dongle valve you gotta be kiddin me...
You're making a few assumptions with this post.
1 ) I know what a dongle valve is. The only dongle I know of is the USB ones you stick in your computer to get internet :lol:A Dongle vale is a made up item for sale as an example ...it filters out the larger lumps of bullshite...BSM273562194039876 one doesn't work...

2) I have that much money...That's quite obvious to us as you cant even afford a hair cut...

3) You don't like me. We all know deep down you're jealous of Lloydie and Al  That is not an assumption Virt believe me...

Yeah yeah yeah always my bloody fault...

Now about that Dongle valve, has anyone got on for less than a score ? It's the most I'm willing to pay, that is until the socks sell then I might stretch to £23.13...

As said The price, location & p&p should be in any for sale add, it's just common sense at the end of the day if you want to sell something.

FYI The Young Ones has been on TV recently & no doubt will be repeated again soon...Gold channel IIRC

All things should be priced and if you are open to offers then Stick ONO on the price. That way it's clear what you would want for it and then it does not turn in to a Bidding war like Ebay.

This is my two pence worth tho
OK sensible head back on now

How many of you would be willing to assist in having this ruling :?: IE if you see someone isn't abiding by the rules you would politely point them to the new rules. We could add a separate sticky at the top of the sales and wants section with the new rulings in it. It could be titled something like "Please read before selling" which would be easier to point a seller to that if needs be.

Only an idea atm.
