It's my original stem. The bearings were shot so I bought a second hand stem and fitted roller bearings to it and fitted it in the bike. The original stem thus became surplus. It's 20 years old but, as far as I'm aware, has never had any major trauma. Certainly not when I was using it.

Mr UPS turned up today & delivered me a box. I was supprised to see when I opened the door that he was wearing shorts 8O

He laughed when I comented & said it was just to keep his trousers dry, which I suppose is a fair comment really... :lol:
