Storm for sale - Year 2000

Post by firestarter1977 »

Hi all,

The time has come to let my storm go to a good home. This bike has wanted for nothing, all it needs is a rear tyre, MOT and its good to go.

Heres a list of mods I have done.

Straight bar conversion kit using billet aluminium yoke.

Mirror extenders

Braided brake lines and clutch line.

Clutch slave cylinder overhauled

CBR 600 front brake install including master cylinder.

Master cylinder overhauled.

EBC Sintered HH pads all round

fitted new ccts and modified them with the internal stop ala sirch

fitted permanent carb balancer lines

fitted new cush drive

2 tooth larger rear sprocket, standard now fitted but comes with larger sprocket and spare chain.

new hagon rear shock with 3mm spacer

ktech springs, 7.5wt oil, reduced spacer, taper grind

Remus titanium high level stubby cans, they are not excessively loud they sound spot on.

seat recovered

shock linkage serviced

r1 R/R

black double bubble

heated grips

6 spoke wheels, re powder coated gloss black

new wheel bearings all round

Probably other stuff I have forgotten about!

I have a seat hump and rentec rack that will go with the bike.

I have toured Europe on this storm and it has never let me down, I just dont ride it anymore.

I will confirm mileage later.

No MOT as it needs a rear tyre, I will MOT it if you pay for a tyre I am that confident it will pass.

Photos to follow, its the one in my signature.

£1500.00 to anyone on VTR1000.org.

Cheers

Mark
