Red Firestorm - Clean, tidy and sorted - £1250 ONO

Post by StuartWags »

Nice bike runs and rides right. SORN, 9 moths MOT, rear tyre barely legal (PR3s)

It was previous owned by a forum member as well (marty b). I have done about 700 miles on it since getting it. It had failed CCT

CCt replaced with standard, oil filters, and fluid done in February. Also done roller bearings on dog bone, new rear wheel bearings, pads all round etc.

According to his posts it has had up rated springs in front Not checked), dyno jetted for straight through cans (now on modified standard cans )etc. Was his from 2011 and racked up about 20k miles and attended some forum events (grainstrom 2012)

Viewing welcome (PE12 0TP). I would not sell a heap to a forum member as i will continue to be a VTR nerd, will be at the mallory track day on my other storm and will no doubt be calling on your services in the future.

If he has it wont be long before he gets another one. This man has saved more Storms from getting broken than anyone. It's his fetish, keeping as many on the road and alive as possible

If he works on the bikes so often, do you think he would build one for me if I handed him what I have?

What do you want doing to it?

I could probably help you get it to MOT standard but would probably recommend going with standard parts were possible. At least that way you would get a road legal bike that you could work on at you leisure.

i.e. standard headers and cans, standard electrics / lights etc. This would not cost mega money as the standard bit come pretty cheap.
