fireblade front calipers and m/c's, NOW SOLD!

Post by agentpineapple »

a pair of very good condition 1999 fireblade calipers, as checked by our brake guru Jonesy.
they will need repainting, as I had originally painted them blue but like a plonker I've scuffed the paint.
also for sale is a front brake master cylinder upgrade, a cbr600 m/c with matching clutch m/c, the are the nissin rectangular shaped m/c's that you see on the very last models of firestorm.
the brake m/c together with the calipers are a will provide better braking than a standard storm setup.
the calipers are £60
the m/c's are £50 for the pair
I will do a combined deal of £100
these prices include shipping to mainland uk
all items have been ultra sonically cleaned.
I can also include a set of used but very good condition front brake pads in with the sale.
I have to mention that to fit these calipers you have to ever so slightly modify either the fork leg mountings or the calipers, I decides to mod the fork leg mountings.
if painted or anodised gold, they will look identical to my sp2 calipers shown in this picture.

a picture of the caliper before I scuffed them...doh!

matching clutch and brake m/cs

this pictures show's where you have to remove a couple of mm's of the material to make the calipers fit, I used a dremmel to do the job, very easy indeed.

hi flatters
the paint is from extreme auto accessories
they have a wide range of colours, the paint is made for calipers and goes on really well, I achieved a decent finish, I topped it off with a vht clear lacquer.
sadly it couldn't handle being dropped from 12inches on to a patio floor, hence a few scuffs. I've yet post the current pics, but as I've said they'll new a re paint or touch up....
the calipers also come with nice shiny new bolts
