Micron exhaust.

Post by MacV2 »

I have a set of Microns up for grabs...

Round ally, low level link pipes, hanging straps & clamps.

These are not marked at all re road or race use...

They are not perfect with surface scratches here & there plus the wear marks from the straps. No dents tho...

The rubber seals at each end cap are all good.

Inlet is 52mm. L-47cm. D-33cm. All up weight is just under 5kgs...so less than 1 std can...

Happy to ship but anyone outside the UK mainland may require additional postage charges...

£150 collected + £15 shipped within the UK mainland.

Yes they need a clean but then they need a polish anyway...

I have not had these fitted so can make no comment on sound, although other Storms I have heard with Microns...are quite loud...

It's about time you updated you Franks Parts Emporium sign as it makes you look like some cheap nasty breakers. Does nothing for your sales pitch. You want to have words with Frank about that. He can't even write in a straight line

Those look like my old cans from back in the day. The scratch on the right had Micron label looks familiar.

They used to have the "NOT FOR ROAD" use stamped on them on the end cap round the exit pipe but I seem to remember it dissapearing one day

If it is them I repacked them back in 2000 and fitted new allen bolts to the end cap!

They are loud but in a good way.

It never ceases too amaze me how parts do the rounds here. Parts have done more travelling over the years than what I have done in my life and I bet they have spent more on postage than what the item is worth to begin with. It would be interesting to know how many owners those cans have gone through since they left Firestorm Al  Quite amazing they are still in one piece from 16 years ago. 8O

They are defo the not for road use microns as they have the Red Micron logo. The better sounding Microns IMO whereas the road legal cans you cant do anything with them and stuck with baffles.
