Honda VT1000 Firestorm - 1999 under 10k miles - £2400 - REDUCED

Colour - Orange / Black -this was the only year this colour option.
Original colour was just Orange and can be reverted to stock by refitting original and included Seat cowl / Bellypan etc

Location -Swindon Wiltshire

One owner from new - always garaged - excellent condition
Currently not taxed (SORN) as it did not have MoT - but just got new MoT last week April 19

Datatag fitted at purchase
Manual CCT fitted about 4 years ago
Black (Pyramid) bellypan
Carbon Scorpion Exhausts (with Removable Baffles - passes MoT with baffles inserted)
Black Seat Cowl
Black Screen
Gel battery and trickle charger - (Tails fitted to Battery for easy charging)

Original Exhausts, belly pan and original Orange seat Cowl
Original Screen - included but pretty badly opaque through ageing - might clean up

Just passed MoT with no advisories / notes - just needed fresh fuel and contact cleaner on indicator switch (dry contacts)
I knew the trip for the MoT i would either fall for the bike again or decide to sell...and its the second option on the basis of riding position is no longer any good for me ...old knees / back ...

Needs service / fresh oil etc - but would rather keep it honest ....

Not getting any use due to other bikes - and not enough time - would like it to go to a home where it would get the use it deserves - I can not continue with this bike due to the riding position and was difficult decision to sell as it was my first BRAND ever new bike...

Photo`s included once i look up how to link them ....does not seem to work from Photobucket ??
Any admin that can assist would be appreciated

but can send to anyone that`s interested - PM me
- let me know any questions of if you want any extra pictures

EXTRA NOTES ADDED HERE :-
Now with embedded images
DATATAG document shows it was not fitted until 2004 - my mistake
Also found another Honda screen - think its off a later VTR but fits - MUCH better condition than original
Also comes with Scorpion Chrome open exhausts (No Baffles) - would NOTpass normal MoT unless your MotT tester is VERY friendly :-)

Would be open to offers on the bike if you don't want all the parts bundle.

I'm not sure the admins will be able to assist by finding buyers at that price!

Low mileage, though, I suppose, but these bikes handle mileage well, and as you say, 20 year old bike.

2k might sell.

At least its the right time of year.

Good luck!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Have to agree with Tony , your asking price is more like a dealers/shop price...

2k if someone falls in love with it... anything up from 1500 is more realistic...

Having said that it's a nice clean bike GLWS...

Now with embedded images - thanks - yes Photbucket is RUBBISH !

Price is not fixed and rules state that there should be a price set - so happy to open a discussion if someone is seriously interested,

Honestly if I don't get a decent offer I will probably keep it - and annoy the neighbours

Could also sell the extra stuff separately I guess would prefer it to go as a bundle but options are there,

I don't think the asking price is too bad, I feel it should be worth more than £2k to sell. not so many low mile ones about. it's true they do miles well and people seem happy to pay less for a 40k miler. but there will be someone who want's an honest low mile bike. I wouldn't sell mine for less that £2500, it is also under 10k miles but has more extra's. It's not for sale (at the moment) btw so not jumping in on your add.

good luck with the sale

I don't think the asking price is bad either, there's not many low mileage one owner Firestorms about now if any in the rare orange colour.

It's rather refreshing to hear some members actually do take note of our forum rules, good man Rob for noting a price is required

Price reduced to see if any interest at all on here and to avoid paying eBay fees etc

I have listened to the feedback and comments although mixed I can see the balance...
It is in really great condition and always garaged ... Probably a bit too much judging by the mileage ...

Hoping to find a good home .....
