Right Radiator for a 97 Firestorm

Post by johnfish »

Hi all,

Sorry for not posting for ages. I'm now getting around to fixing up my old 'Storm a bit!

Has anyone had any experience with the cheap new radiators from China (being sold via Holland)?

Many thanks!

I know someone who has a Chinese rad on a VFR race bike and he's had no problems with it. As a cheaper option it could work but you may have to buy one to find out. at least there's a bit of room if the dimensions aren't perfect.

Does anyone know if there has ever been a conversion to a conventionally positioned rad, or if there's even room?

Thanks, Popkat. Still not feeling like I want to take the risk. Might just go for a used genuine one.

I think that I've read somewhere that there's room for a SV1000 rad.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
