Wanted Right Hand Radiator

Post by Duffy1964 »

Has anyone got a right hand radiator in good condition with all lugs and fins intact.
Dug mine out today and brackets are shot.
Needed for my fighter project so needs to be good so it can be painted black as it’s on show and not hidden behind a fairing.

Yeah I have one. Not sure the condition will meet your high stds tho...

Your more than welcome to come over & have a look.

There are IIRC a few bent fins but these can be tidied up with a bit of patience & you can even buy a radiator comb for said straightning.

I cant confirm the brackets & such with out a look at it. I can check tomorrow & get back to you...

I doubt you'll ever find an untouched one unless someone has a NOS one siting on a self & thats not going to be cheap.

I have pic's !

Come & have an inspection...Make me an offer.

Oddly, although new pattern rads for Storms on Ebay are 175+, SP2 rads are only 99, and you can put in offers.
Not sure if they are any shorter, but it's not unlikely, and as you are having to move yours back to clear the Blade forks, it might be a neater solution.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Yeah I saw those Tony but as it a hopefully temporary solution a good second hand one will do. Seen a few on bay of evil around £25 that look pretty tidy.
I think Mac & Frank have one so gonna visit the Isle of Grain today Image
