VTR wanted with renthals and MCCTs done

Post by bigtwinthing »

Hello and its a welcome return for me after a few bikes some great some crap, ( hated the triumph but loved the VFR 1200) however I do want another VTR but must have the MCCTs done and be fitted with Renthals, I dont mind the trimmed screen.

I had an immaculate VTR with everything done but failed to realise how great this bike was.

Don't mind the colour at all. Money is waiting for the right bike, I can pay milage delivery etc as cant ride at the moment either.

Regards Paul.

Nothing in stock that matches your requirements...

But this one was on Gumtree last week...

https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-mot ... ntent=none

Cant see from the pics if it has manuals but has renthals & what look like F4i calipers or at least later modle ones as they aint right for the year...

39k... has white wheels on it tho !
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Hi All. Well to be honest my Buzzy Fingers are the issue these days, I can seriously ride for about an Hr max, until they start to hurt. I also cant really do any manual work on the engines, and Frame etc, anything with small nuts and bolts and I am buggered. Still keep them clean though.
The VFR 1200f was wonderful, smooth and so fast, But even with a bespoke seat and Grips it killed.

The Plan, to ride to work and back and the odd Saturday blast out. a VTR would fit that providing the MCCT,s are done. I realised I should not have sold the last one. However the CB1000R was good for just a blast.

So anybody with a VTR with the MCCT,s done, I could get the bars sorted probably. Please let me know and Nice to be back in on what was always the best Forum on the Web.

Welcome back .... It's better to try all the cool bikes and end up back here than to have always wondered if the grass was greener..... Or is it?

Hi, were are you located as I am thinking of moving mine on. just over 15,000 on the clock. MCCT's done, and VFR bars which are higher that the standards but not as high as Renthals. Putting a VFR800 with 12,5000 mile on the road from 27th March.
