Re: rear light
At a guess, I'd say something like this:-

The only down side I'd say with fitting something like this rear light set-up, is that it may not be so visible from behind if you're at an angle to it, because it looks like it's set back-in the tail/seat plastic's, whereas the original rear light is protruding the seat plastic's, so is more visible,
Chris.

Re: rear light
Mine came with a setup like that. It was awe full. Lights were dull and the flickered. I cut it out and went back to stock so I could be seen.
Re: rear light
is it just me or does that paint job just look dirty? perhaps better in the flesh, but on photos it is strange

I think you may be right Chric. I like it.....there should be a tutorial on how to hide camouflage the Yellow.
Third party aftermarket lights are generally shite. It always best to go original if you can. How about getting an SP rear light. They are not round but square but are still separate lights rather than one complete unit type thing. There must be a way of customizing and SP 1/2 tail light to fit.

Re: rear light
not an easy picture to see, but it looks like an intergrated undertray/rear lights, I ran a similar set up a few years ago, I still like the look, but they were fairly useless as rear lights go.
you might still be able to get them from the states, the used to be on ebay usa.

Smoke damage!
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
Re: rear light
Presumably the owner paid to have it look like that, and chose the design over other designs.
There's no accounting for taste, unless, of course, you're an accountant.
But then, he/she might say the same about mine, once they see the mismatched fairing set that are about to go on....

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
