Thanks a lot for the offer, but I don't fancy pushing the bike :lol: thought you were based up in the land of Scot?

Engine will turn over but won't catch, and choke is making no difference
Have you checked the ignition circuit. Start with the plugs and see it it's sparking. Just pull a HT lead off, stick an old plug in and hold the lead with insulated pliers with the plug tip against the frame, cam cover or something. If all leads/Plugs are firing move on to fuel, Pull a fuel hose off and make sure fuel is getting through. Can you smell any fuel. Is it flooding. You did switch the fuel tap back on when you done the carbs didn't you. Once the ignition and fuel circuits have been ruled out you then need to move on to electrical. Disconnected or broken wires. Maybe and intermittent fault from a break inside a wire somewhere.

Urm, no. It worked fine getting to Redditch, and worked fine getting back about 8 hours later :lol: I'll give it a real good going over before I leave for Essex tomorrow :thumbup: Thanks for adding things to my To Do list

I wouldn't think about it, been through there before in the car and I felt so uncomfortable :( I'm bringing 2 bike chains and a disc lock with me as it is :L

I don't want to do long distance ever again :( I forgot how uncomfortable Honda seats are for more than an hour, however my fuel economy is so much better now.. Considering I didn't use sixth :D
