My SV1000 has the same Cubes, fuel-injected, better buy second hand if you forgive original build quality.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

A week ago today I gave my 1998 Firestorm to my son in law. :?

I've just gone a whole 7 days NOT being the owner of a Firestorm.

I've just been out & bought myself a really nice 16,000 mile 2003 F2 Firestorm.

I'm a happy old fart again. :biggrin

Another 'old' thread comes alive.

I am glad I am not on my own, as I see many have 'ejected' their Storms only to buy another later on. Only months ago I started this thread: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=43745 and just as quickly sold the bike to snaffle an SP-2.

Whilst I love the SP-2. it's not a bike a want to knock up heaps of miles on. Could have easily purchased another Blade, but no, these Storms just stir one's soul to such a degree that they become addictive. So I bought another  8) . Black 1998. Going to make sure this one's a keeper and do some sprucing up initially, and then do some serious 'modding'.

Easy for me to understand why some of you guys have two (or more) of these treasures!

Was about to post pics but Photobucket now has no free membership. Will look for another host.

It needs a rear tyre, an MOT, tax & insurance... I might get on with it soon...just funds at the mo holding life back...

Been a busy few days on this.

Wheels and OEM screen courtesy of StuartWags.
Remus cans courtesy of strong eBay bid.
Red OEM cowl en-route that I'll paint black.
Done oil and air filter change.

And now this one's a keeper so I'll never have to miss it.

Well In the market for another storm and looking at prices/condition of bikes extras etc I’m regretting selling mine even more. Nice looking one I’m considering buying but with 20k more miles and standard apart from exhausts is £200 more than I sold mine. Starting to realise what an idiot I was haha.

Yep, it's a shame when that happens. I've been there. TWICE!!

Fortunately, there's a few trickling into the market at the mo. Not all glamours and not all competitively priced, but with your ear to the ground, you're bound to come up a winner.
