SP1 on 03 plate ?

Post by cheekykev »

Hi guys :help:

I'm going to look at an SP1 tomorrow on a 03 plate with a view to buying and it's a bloody long way away so trying to be sure, can anyone explain how this could be on a 03 due to the fact they stopped making them well before then.
Am i just looking into it to deep and being over cautious or was it just possible it was one of the very last ones that had been hanging around in a dealers.

It took a couple of years to get through all the early model Firestorms in the country. Why should it be any different for the SP? It would have just been old stock and registered the following year. I wouldn't worry about it, treat it as any other bike and judge it on it's mileage, condition, and service history
Good luck

Oh Yes! Forgotten about that.
Now that one I would worry about. Being in storage for eight years is a bit different from just not getting sold that year
