best suggestion is to try one before you committ.

you can book an off road session with some groups
http://www.yamaha-schools.co.uk/
http://www.adysmith.co.uk/
http://www.trailworld.co.uk/

use teh one who has the type of bike you want to buy and see if you can ride like shane watts..........off roading near people with any level of skill leaves you feeling very humble, and the like of shane watts or david knight are super human, but we all dream

hey up pal

i have a race tuned ccm 640 supermoto, great fun and will out corner the storm all day long.

if i was looking at going supermoto i would buy one with sm wheels already due to the cost

rear tyres get boring as i can kill a rear in under 800 miles :(

have a look on supermoto forum ( was called seventeen inches ) i would say a better sm bike would be the husky 510

Depending on the rideout route, you'll either look very stupid or very wise on the Wales ride-outs.......
Is it really only worth a grand, though?
'cause if it's worth more, just buy a scrappy Storm and p/ex that instead.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Its probably worth a lot more but with the damage inflicted by my stupidity, Its not as pretty as it once was. That plus the fact I am cash poor and impatient!!

Its a 30k 2002 plate FY with slight damage to the rear (tail and zorsts) from a 12 o'clock wheelie
