The Road Racers

Post by Kev L »

Following a recomendation in the book "That near death thing" I bought the DVD The Road Racers/V Four Victory.
Really good films with particular interest in the first title. Follows Frank Kennedy, Mervyn Robinson and Joey Dunlop. It shows how the Armoy Armada got started and shows an interesting insight into the psyche of those guys, and the effect their racing had on a whole community as well as their family and them.
By the time the film was completed in 1979 two of them had died at the NW200.
Well worth a watch if you get the chance.
