Dyno Day 22nd June 2013.

Post by leevtr »

This is now going ahead at the location below. The more the merrier, if not already booked in but interested, please read on. Under 2 weeks to go now, so best be quick.

For one we'll get a genuine comparison across the bikes. Secondly, if we all come armed with our settings, it could be helpful to others, if they want to adjust yet dont know what direction to go in with jets etc, they can see who's running what, and what's running well and what their set up is. I wouldn't mind travelling a bit, as somewhere in the Midlands would be fairest option for all, ( Lloydie and Virt are rubbing their hands together  ). Only power runs mind, could probably get a group discount, and I think it would be a laugh.
:

Location as follows;

Projex Motorcycle Engineers
Unit 6 Spinners End Industrial Est,
Oldfields,
Cradley Heath,
West Midlands,
B64 6BS

Cost; £10 P.P. Payable in advance to secure the dyno for the day. Non Refundable ( cant be letting the operator down at the last minute, so if you don't turn up, he still gets paid, Sorry, but general opinion is this is only fair  ) That includes 1 dyno run each, and I think a tea and butty.

I set one up last year at Projex in cradlyheath brum and only amcq46 and I turned up !
I could set one up again for this year but we need 15 minimum and it should be £10 a run

IIRC Styler4077 (?) owns a mobile dyno.

If he could be persuaded...

&

If a suitable location was found...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Cheap at twice the price. I'd go. I think it would be prudent to take deposits from all who say theyre going though, not fair to the dyno bloke who expects 20 bikes and gets 4 show. No show, no refund. Only fair.

Like I said, I think central is fairest. Most can make the midlands and back in a day.

Nah, let AMcQ do it? He's probably got the right wig and dress lying around somewhere

No show, no refund sounds fair. I actually might consider it, having read the thread about claimed bhp and stuff.. See if my 33bhp restrictor actually puts out 33bhp at the rear wheel?

Don't have to run it by me mate. I'll just be a willing participant, there for the crack and interested to see the results of all the different set ups. Try and make it for when theres at least a chance of good weather though, I'd like to enjoy the ride up, rather than slogging up a boring M1/M6.

Wheres Carl hiding anyway ??

Best to get an idea of whos going and where they are based before booking anything up though. Keep it central to all participants I think.
