Hey bud

There is helpful information here;

http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... aint+codes

I think there are two for yellow. Y124p and y163p.

Hope that helps.

Basically there was a light lemon yellow and a warmer custard shade of yellow. Has yours been resprayed or has the body work & tank just been swapped on from an umolested bike? If it has been resprayed it could be anything from a standard Honda shade to whatever the PO chose from a paint chart.

Take it to a motor paint factors (like this local to you > http://www.gramic-supplies.co.uk ) and match an unfaded area of the colour against a paint chart. But be aware yellow is hard to match as it will differ due to differences in batches and how it has been applied.
