Re: Armoy here I come!
Right! Just got home from an amazing long weekend at the Armoy road races . Now I've seen plenty of road racing but these lads and lasses are nuts . They are hurling themselves around roads that are very little wider than a farm track, what's even more amazing is the road surface isn't much better than a farm track in places. Proper old school, out the back of a van, farm field as a paddock road racing .This event is very well organised and ran and as far as I know doesn't receive major sponsorship. Highly highly recommended .
What made it even better was, Macdee rushing around to get his bike MOT'd and giving up his Friday evening/night to meet up with us and show us some popular places/sights So a big big thank you to you sir , was great to meet you again .
Also did a lap of Armoy circuit ( which was an eye opener) , some coast road ( stunning), and a lap of the NW200 circuit Oh and bumped into William Dunlop in Ballycastle chippy Did somewhere around 600/700 miles, which is more than I did all last year ! Me and the Viffer are bonding
