running rough

Post by frosty »

i have just fitted new cct ,s and now the bike seems to be running a little rough. the timing was checked and was ok.
at first it wouldnt start but then i found a pipe i had forgot to put on the fuel tap so now it runs but not very well, is there something else i may have left off.

But have you put the vaccum pipe onto the right connection on the petcock. You will find more info in the Read me for new members below

Which way did you connect the vacuum hose? to the one at the bottom pointing downwards or on the fitting at the back of the fuel tap pointing sidewards? as it should be fitted to the latter.

No - that's a fuel overflow vent spigotty fing.

Easy mistake to make if you have the tank off as everyone has done it - next time take a photo or mark up on the hoses what goes where for reference.
