I ran a set of these, prior to fitting T30 Evo's on my VTR, and I went through a few sets on my RF900 and VFR800. The Metzelers are excellent tyres, a little slower steering and softer riding than the Bridgestones. I was getting about 7-8000km from a set, all of that from playing on coarse chip-sealed roads. On smoother roads or commuting, I'm sure they'd do better.

Better still are the Roadtec 01's, which are a super-stable comfy tyre that seems to wear even better and grips very well.
