HJC Helmets

Post by popkat »

Has anyone got an HJC RPHA 70 ?, I bought one not long ago and have only worn it a couple of times, lid looks really good but when I take it off I have a 5 way Mohawk hairstyle 8O my hair takes the shape of the top lining, I've had loads of lids and they have cutouts in the top lining but never had one do this.. If I wear it on Devonstorm weekend it's full ammo for p1ss taking, it'll save you lot all of 30 seconds finding something to take the P1ss out of. but really what a bummer to buy a nice looking lid and not be able to wear it.

I've emailed Oxford products who import them but wondered if anyone else had one and had any issues ?

What about using one of those helmet saver skull caps the MotoGP boys use?
My Arai Rx has a similar effect but not being a vain Devon gay boy it doesn’t bother me!

I'm too dumb and lazy to sort posting pics, photobucket was slow but easy to do.

My head is already formed to the Arai shape from many years of Arai abuse, but it's not so pronounced as the full on multiple tramline HJC effect.. Kev I wish I was as hardy as an Essex (woops Hertford) pooof, the Devon air must make me too sensitive :P

I was looking at the skull caps on ebay but don't know if they'd work, anyone used them ?

You Have Some Pride left?
Been married as long as me haven't you

I did a quick search to have a look at the lid. Personally I like the HJC stuff, it appears to give you just as good a quality as some of the mainline lids but with out the price tag.

I also found this review of a cheeper lid which I found quite funny.
