Post by TaxiDriver »

Has anyone fitted a hazard circuit and is it even possible to do this?

I see bikes with hazzard flashing when they are filltering...It's not really the correct use of them & as most cagers on the commute when in lines of traffic rarely use their mirrors anyway it's a bit pointless...

have a read of this...

Simplest way would be to fit a second flasher relay with a push-to-talk or regular type switch, and connect both rears and fronts to just one side of the relay.

For filtering, you probably only need the front pair flashing.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Not hard to make it work, somewhat hard to do cleanly, not hard at all to do well if you have good experience with wiring.

Id use a electronic flasher, some diodes to isolate the new circuits, use a ON/Off push switch in a add on switch holder mounted to the clutch or brake master with switch holders from https://www.highwaydirtbikes.com/index. ... irt Bikes they have some brilliant parts usable on pure street bikes. Properly tie in to all four light circuits using new sealed type connectors from Furukawa, Sumitomo, Tyco/AMP, or Yazaki https://www.corsa-technic.com/category. ... ory_id=120
