Your getting there
Your not wrong Grumpy... The disc mating surfaces SHOULD be unpainted...Scrape it off & clean as much as poss...
Unless it's how the light has caught it, the bearing housing on the front wheels looks to have been powder coated or painted as well 8O
If it has, and as Grumpy says the brake disc mounting points, all of which should have been covered/masked up before being powder coated or painted.

Apart from that they are looking like new

I did ask them to, however looks like they thought I just meant the thread for the disc bolts. They were done for free so I'm sure I can manage a bit of work to prepare them!

Bring out the dremmel, if only I hadn't recently broken it!

Anyone got a picture of a wheel without discs so I can see what bits I need to rub down? Bearing bits are easy enough, but I currently don't have discs to check which bits I should do....

Dazza, just look at your original photos, just the flat bits where bolts go in.
Don't hassle me

All contact area where the disc mates mates with the wheel.

Because you're thinking more about the pita of removing the paint :)

If it is only paint, using paint stripper would be better than a Dremel, you don't want to over do it on the mating surfaces for the disc's or the bearing housings, remove the paint only,

It shouldn't be too difficult being paint,
