Parts Wanted

Post by Duffy1964 »

New project It’s a 2003 model to keep me busy for a while

Parts needed as follows:-
Manual CCT’s

LHS fairing in Candy Tahitian Blue (PB-215C)

Rear tail fairing in Candy Tahitian Blue (PB-215C)

Fairing insert above headlight

Gear lever

Clutch reservoir and cap

Good clean generator cover as mine is scuffed.

Front wheel in standard black paint as mine is pretty scabby.

Also rhs fork seal leaks

So if you have any parts listed above give me a shout.

Tank has already been sourced so that’s the first part of the jigsaw.

Maybe a carbonadi engine cover/s to hide the scuffing if not too badly damaged?

Thanks Wicky I have seen those, but I’m trying to keep it standard and a replacement secondhand caseing is cheaper than the cover

You might struggle to find a late model coloured one in good nick

Early one on ebay for a tenner, with prep & tidying, fresh lick of paint and a new gasket might keep it under the cost of a carbonadi.

although a late model bike, the engine cases didn't change colour until 2004, so duffers bike has the early model colour.

Yes Kev same as my last blue one on a 03 plate that I hade a few years ago.
I must have a change over model now as I have seen a few 19 Ltr models with digital clocks, but casings varying on 03 models.

I think the F2 had the white revcounter (or speedo, can’t remember) and black cases, the F3 gold cases and matching black speedo/rev counter faces. As they get older they are bound to get parts from other years added so the lines will blur even more. You’ll know about that with the Triumph!!!!

Yeah my current one must be an F2 as it has a white rev counter.

I’ve found TriCorAndy to be very knowledgeable and helpful if you need guidance on the right parts for the Triumph. He goes to Kempton if you’re down there as well
