Frame polishing

Does anyone know what you need to polish your frame up and how to do it? My mates had his done and wanted to do mine while the bikes in the spray shop.

alot of wet and dry and about 3000 tubs of elbow grease mate lol.

basically you need to get yourself an assortment of wet and dry. i used

80
160
240
480
800
1200
1500
2000

its just a case of removing your fairings and sanding the frame down with the lowest grade and then moving up to the highest grade paper. to do the full frame (top and bottom bit) youre looking at an easy 30 hours work although its worth it in the end

do you need any sort of polish to be applied during the sanding or buffing it up??

i gave it a quick autosol after changing grades just to see how things were coming along. and be sure to use the wet and dry wet when you get up to 400 and above otherwise itll mark the surface

Thanks mate. I got about a week from when the fairin goes in till i get it back so ill try and crack on then. Yours looks awesome mate just hope i can get mine the same.
