tempreture question

Post by agentpineapple »

on the way back from my fav spanner monkeys today I get stuck in central london traffic, some march/protest, whilst stuck in traffic I notice the digital temp gauge showing 107 degree's, is this high or normal, the bike also cut out nearly every time I was stuck at traffic lights, does the storm have a cut out function when it gets too hot?
should the digital temp gauge flash red when it gets to a very high reading?
and finally I have a sneaky feeling the fan wasn't cutting in, I did a quick fuse check when I got indoors and they're all ok, but after what happened to Al a few years back, I think i'll change the fuse.
any constructive advice is welcome.....

Storm shouldn't be used over 112 degrees I think it is. Your fans cut in at 106 so check your coolant because mine never gets that high, whenever my fan kicks in I drop back down to 102 (fans stop) within 20 seconds.

You get one lego block and then another, stick one on top of the other and continuing building them up and then you have a very tall wall.

Check the fan switch and coolant level.

fuse is either blown or not blown. I don't think there are any half measures

Technically your correct, But on the monopoly run Al's fuse looked good but turned out to be blown. :confused weird or what. So the moral of the story is even if the fuse looks good and you haven't verified with a test light or multimeter, then it's best to change it anyway.
