Pop into your local auto paint factors shop with the codes and see what the smallest rattle can is that they''ll mix.

:confused Which paint brand? I googled both codes, but couldn't really find anything...

Does anyone know the original Honda code for this colour? Could it be NH-19M? -> http://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/BH ... tCodes.htm

The codes aren't a 'factory colour' they were from colour swatch catalogues that I matched by eye to an alternator cover I took in.

This is the local company I use for all my paint stuff > Gramic Supplies - http://www.gramic-supplies.co.uk

Ring up a Honda motorcycles main dealers and ask for the technical department. Someone must have the exact paint code for it.

doubt it, last year went in to a main dealer to get a stock air filter and ended up having an argument with the parts guy cause he was convinced cause the micro fiche was telling him that my storm air filter was in two parts, the big plastic surround and the smaller filter inside.

I had to convince him this was for the varadero not the storm, I nearly took the fecking bike apart in the car park to prove the point.

the service guy luckily came through and agreed with me, turned out that the fiche was not showing the full description of the air filter, and that was where the confusion came from.

i agree with bazza, i had a argument with the parts department at motoden honda in london, totally useless and over reliant on the micro fiche.
i very much doubt they would have a clue when it comes to paint codes....

It's not the parts department you need. It's the technical department. Parts departments are just full of nobody's serving the everyday over the counter customers.
