Re: rear axle nut
+1
Scouse if you have a Honda toolkit under the seat you will have spanners in there that fit the axle bolts. Oh and if you adjusting your chain the adjuster bolts go the opposite direction to what you might think. Anti-clockiwise to tighten and clockwise to loosen.

Thanks for replies, i am a doing the chain, needs adjusting before i take a run to donington on friday to watch some practice for classic racing, i will also check the toolkit. keep forgetting about the tools under the seat

Re: rear axle nut
It is still better to get the proper socket as it can be rather hard to get the 69ft\lbs needed for the rear axle nut with the cheap Honda tools.......

Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.
Re: rear axle nut
Did that job today with the honda tools, i would have to agree with 8541hawk that you need a decent socket for that job, usually get my tools at carboot sales, will keep a look out for that, thanks for advice.

You should also get your self a Torque wrench, you don't want loose nuts & you also don't want to over tighten them either.
Please don't buy a torque wrench from a boot sale !
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
Re: rear axle nut
You get some good stuff at car boot sales. What do you think ebay is....a car boot sale without the cars.Don't let Carl here that he'll have a hizzy fit...
