Reference - Linkage Bearing, Seal Sizes and Part Number

Post by kitsun »

For the complete replacement of the suspension linkage needle bearings and seals you need:-

4 needle bearings Honda part number 91072-KT7-003 item number 17 of size 17x24x20
1 needle bearing Honda part number 91071-KV3-005 item number 20 and of size 17x24x25
6 dust seals Honda part number 91262-KV3-831 item number 19 and of size 17X24X5

If you do the rear shock as well then you need to add

2 dust seals Honda part number 91262-KV3-831 item number 19 and of size 17X24X5
1 needle bearing Honda part number 91071-KV3-005 item number 20 and of size 17x24x25

Well done, Kitsun, good find.

Kit, which microfiche did you use to reference the item numbers, e.g. 17, 19, 20, etc.

The fiche I am using (diagram) has some different numbering on it than the ones you have quoted.

Can you put up a link of the fiche you used please?

Thanks
Cheers
Don

You have to watch those microfiche's as sometimes the part numbers they have are their own numbers and not genuine Honda part numbers. Good catch thunderbolt.

References mostly from US sites

http://www.ronayers.com/REAR-SHOCK-ABSO ... 75558.aspx

And from Partzilla ( which I've bought from)

Carl it wasn't that the Part#s were different it was the numbers on the diagram for each individual part. Can be bit of a trap.

Kit, you had the oil/dust seal on your reference file above as number 19 on the diagram, but No. 19 on both Ron Ayers and Partzilla is a dowel.

Partzilla is fine except that shipping is based on cost I.e usd40 shipping cost for anything purchased up to usd100 after which it goes up. Parts can take sometime to arrive as they have to order parts from American Honda. I use only as a last resort when I can't get parts elsewhere.
